FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground tests equipment of aircraft elements and can be used in ground tests of aircraft elements. Disclosed method includes zonal heating of the external surface of the item due to contact with heater. Temperature distribution along the height of the item is set by electroconductive sectors of the heater of different thickness, which are connected to an electric circuit in parallel and are formed by winding conducting thread under and (or) above the electric buses, placed on the item along generating lines. Number of current-conducting thread coils in each electrical conductive sector is selected by the formula: , where Ni is the number of coils in the i-th sector; U - voltage on buses; ρ - specific resistance of current-conducting material; Ri - external radius of the item in the i-th sector; qi - required heat flux density in the i-th sector; Sn - cross section flat area of current-conducting thread; Δh is height of the i-th sector.
EFFECT: technical result is eliminating restrictions on the task of temperature field on the surface of test objects, height of which is less than diameter of the base.
