FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extracting technology of extraction and separation of niobium and antimony and can be used in production of highly pure niobium compounds. In niobium-containing fluoride solution with admixture of antimony ammonium fluoride is added to the total concentration of HF and NH4F, equal to 6-16 mol/l, with ratio of HF:NH4F = 1:0.1-0.7. Then the extraction processing of the obtained solution is performed by tributyl phosphate in volume ratio of organic and aqueous phases O:A = 0.6-2.1:1 with conversion of antimony into organic phase, and of niobium-into water phase. Preferably, to carry out the extraction processing at number of the steps of 5-8. Obtained extract of antimony is re-extracted by the solution of 200 g/l NH4F. Niobium is deposited from raffinate as hydroxide niobium by processing the raffinate with 25 % ammonia water. Niobium hydroxide is dried at 150 °C and is calcined at 950 °C with obtaining of niobium pentoxide. Method provides to increase the degree of extraction of niobium in the aqueous phase up to 99.93 % and to reduce the degree of its combined extraction with antimony up to 0.07 %.
EFFECT: increase of degree of niobium extraction into the aqueous phase and to reduce the degree of its combined extraction with antimony.
