SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device generating fibre molten material, particularly glass, and method of making said device. Device, dispensing fibre molten material, when heated due to Joule-Lenz effect at power supply, containing side plates, bottom plate equipped with nozzles for outflow of fused material, and optionally top grid, at least one of these parts, which can be in contact with molten material consists of: massive part from iron-based alloy with melting point higher than 1,450 °C, generatrix of substrate, connecting metal layer formed at least part of substrate surface, ceramic layer covering connecting metal layer, wherein metal layer and ceramic layer form diffusion barrier for alloy components forming substrate, and layer of protective coating made of platinum or platinum alloy applied directly on ceramic layer.
EFFECT: manufacturing device from cheaper material, which has good resistance to oxidation, good corrosion resistance and wettability glass.
