SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental biotechnology. Method of splitting biogas comprises treating biogas with monoethanolamine (MEA), which absorbs carbon dioxide (CO2) gas, feeding obtained MEA solution for regeneration, from where CO2 is desorbed by heating and reducing pressure and after cooling biological deodorisation of CO2 is carried out by treating with active sludge, treatment of CO2 with atomic oxygen with concentration of 0.5-2.5 mg/l is carried out in a first mass exchange apparatus, second mass exchange apparatus carries out treatment of CO2 with atomic oxygen in concentration of 0.5-2.5 mg/l and atomic chlorine in concentration of 1-5 mg/l, and methane extracted from biogas is recycled. According to invention, in mass exchange apparatus before treating CO2 with atomic oxygen with concentration of 0.5-2.5 mg/l, further biological deodorisation is carried out.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of amount of used equipment while facilitating all operations required for obtaining sufficient degree of cleaning and deodorisation of carbon dioxide.
