FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave frequency equipment and can be used in instrumentation and antenna systems, as well as in different devices of wireless communication systems and radars. Waveguide-microstrip junction comprises feed waveguide section with a through hole, forming an open waveguide channel, a short-circuited waveguide section with a blind slot, forming a closed waveguide channel, and a dielectric plate, located between waveguide sections. At that, on upper surface of the dielectric plate there are a microstrip transmission line, microstrip probe, which is a continuation of the microstrip line, and a contact metal layer around the microstrip probe without electric contact with the microstrip probe and the microstrip transmission line and forming an inner area on the dielectric plate, being an area of the waveguide channel. Note here that on the contact metal layer there is a short-circuited waveguide section with a slot in the area of the microstrip transmission line, and on the lower surface of the dielectric plate around the area of the waveguide channel there is a grounding metal layer on which a supply waveguide section is located. At that, at least one plated adapter through hole is made along the perimeter of the waveguide channel in metal layers and in the dielectric plate, and at least one not plated through hole is made inside the area of the waveguide channel on the dielectric plate.

EFFECT: invention technical result is decrease of losses level of the signal passage and increase in operating frequency band with low wave reflection coefficient of the waveguide-microstrip junction.
