FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, more specifically to a method for preparation of mashed potatoes. Method for preparation of mashed potatoes includes baking whole unpeeled potatoes in the oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 210 °C, 2-3 puncture should be made in the potatoes using a knife; potatoes are covered with olive oil with crushed garlic and salt. After baking the potatoes are peeled, put in a pan, butter is added, potatoes are whipped using a mixer, spices are adds: rosemary, thyme. Green peas can be also added to the mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes with green peas can be again mixed in the mixer. Canned corn can be also added to the mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes with canned corn can be again mixed in the mixer. Fried mushrooms can be also added to the mashed potatoes. Mashed parsnips can be also added to the mashed potatoes. Grated cheese can be also added to the mashed potatoes.
EFFECT: proposed mashed potatoes have improved organoleptic properties and contain nutrients.
