FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used when melting of ferroalloy, used in production of stainless steel. Chromite concentrate is supplied together with nickel-containing raw material, so that by means of supplied amount of nickel-containing raw material required degree of reduction of metal components of ferroalloy is achieved, wherein at least one part of nickel-containing raw material is fed into a melting furnace in granules obtained from chromite concentrate, and at least one part of nickel-containing raw material is first treated separately from granules of chromite concentrate before feeding into melting furnace.
EFFECT: invention increases degree of metal components, such as chromium, iron and nickel in chromite concentrate.
