FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol generating device, and to a method to generate aerosol by heating the substrate, forming the aerosol. Method of aerosol generation control in the device, generating aerosol, device comprises a heater, containing at least one heating element to heat the substrate, forming the aerosol; and power supply source for power delivery to the heating element, including stages of power control delivered to the heating element, so that the power is delivered to the heating element in the first phase and temperature is increased from initial temperature to the first temperature, power is delivered to the heating element in the second phase so that temperature falls below the first temperature, and power is delivered to the heating element in the third phase so that temperature is increased again.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of the device generating aerosol and the system which deliver aerosol, which has more stable properties for a certain period of continuous or repeated heating of the substrate, forming the aerosol.
