FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for adsorption in a gas (steam) - adsorbent. Proposed adsorber comprises casing with cover and adsorbent. Housing and cover are connected by bolts through sealing gasket, and inside housing coaxially to it sleeve is arranged, around which insulation from soft heat-insulating basalt plate is placed. In sleeve, in upper and lower parts, perforated discs are installed, wherein sleeve volume between discs is filled with adsorbent material in form of granules, having high adsorption capacity and presented by sulfur impregnated activated carbon. Between discs and adsorbent grids are laid, wherein cover accommodates impure air feed branch pipe while housing accommodates branch pipe discharging air cleaned of mercury vapors.
EFFECT: invention increases degree of gas flow cleaning of target component due to increased adsorbent with target component contact area.
