FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for adsorptive processes in the gas (vapour)-adsorbent system. In the adsorber for air cleaning from mercurial vapors containing a body with a cover and an adsorbent, the body and the cover are connected through a gasket with bolts and a nozzle is installed inside the body, coaxially with it, and surrounded by insulation of a soft heat-insulating basalt plate, and perforated disks are installed in the upper and lower parts of the nozzle. The cavity of the nozzle between the disks is filled with adsorbent granules of high adsorption capacity, which present activated carbon, impregnated with sulfur. There are grids laid between the disks and adsorbent. In the cover there is a branch pipe, which suppples polluted air, and in the body there is a branch pipe, which removes the air freed of mercury vapours.
EFFECT: possibility to increase the degree of gas flow purification from the target component due to the increase of the contact area of the adsorbent with the target component.
