FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to immunology. Streptococcus pneumoniae strains are deposited in the State collection of pathogenic microorganisms of pathogenicity of III-IV groups of the Federal state budgetary institution “Scientific Center for Expertise of Means of Medical Application” of the Ministry of Health of Russia under registration numbers 296, 297, 298. These strains have intraspecific cross-protective activity and can be used to produce protein-containing fractions. Disclosed is a method for producing protein-containing fractions from the above strains to develop pneumococcal vaccines. For this purpose the strain is cultured, microbial cells are separated by microfiltration and inactivated by dimethyl ketone with subsequent water extraction and ultrafiltration to obtain a protein fraction with molecular weight of 30-100 kDa and cool dehumidification.

EFFECT: obtaining effective preparations with intraspecific immunogenic activity with respect to the respective serotypes of S.pneumoniae, which can be used as a antipneumococcal vaccine of a wide spectrum of action.
