SUBSTANCE: immunologically active recombinant protein PBD-CbpA with amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, containing a peptidoglycan-binding domain (PBD) of the protein AtlA from Staphylococcus aureus and a fragment of the surface antigen CbpA from Streptococcus pneumoniae. Also disclosed is a method of producing and immobilizing recombinant protein PBD-CbpA on bacterium-like particles. What is produced is an immunobiological agent based on recombinant protein PBD-CbpA immobilized on bacterial-like particles, aimed at inducing an immune response against Streptococcus pneumoniae.
EFFECT: invention extends the range of products used to prevent pneumococcal infection.
