FIELD: test and measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and can be used for checking and adjusting of eddy-current differential motion sensors. Essence: eddy-current motion simulator comprises the main inductance winding, magnetically connected with excitation winding of eddy-current sensor, and the main variable resistor, additional inductance coil magnetically connected with excitation winding and first measurement winding of eddy-current sensor, and an additional variable resistor. Main simulator winding is magnetically connected with the second measuring winding of the sensor. Both windings of the simulator are identical to the measuring windings of the sensor, are consequently connected and shunted with main alternating resistor and additional variable resistor. Central output of additional variable resistor is connected to common point of connection of simulator windings.

EFFECT: technical result is expansion of functional capabilities by enabling simulation of mechanical displacement of the controlled object as across the plane of the sensitive element of eddy current motion sensor (gap), and along the plane of its sensitive element.
