FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of parts of made of mica by laser cutting. Method comprises preparing and rigidly fixing a flat workpiece of mica on a fixed base, which consists of a removable gauze, resting on a rectangular ledge along perimeter of a window in base fixed on an object table, to which extends a stretching line to press said workpiece to removable gauze. Method includes supplying focused laser radiation (LI) of controlled power by means of a portal optical deflecting system to surface of flat workpiece. Spot is formed at a given point of surface of flat workpiece and cutting is performed with control of process of cutting said workpiece by supplying control signals from a personal computer to movable portal, comprising guides and a movable carriage, on which is mounted an optical laser head with provision of longitudinal-transverse displacements on corresponding coordinates of cutting line.
EFFECT: invention simplifies method and provides conditions for accurate cutting without deformation of flaking workpieces.
