FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy and can be used for production of sintered metal-working tools. Tools are made of powder carbide steel, containing carbon, titanium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, chromium, zinc stearate and iron at following ratio of components, wt%: carbon 0.3-0.5, titanium 1.0-2.0, molybdenum 3.0-5.0, tungsten 2.5-4.0, vanadium 3.0-4.0, chromium 8.0-10.0, zinc stearate 0.1-0.3, iron - balance.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance of tool.
