FIELD: seismology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismology and can be used for prediction of possible seismic event on continental subduction zones and islands. Summary: monitored territory division on separate units is pre-determined. Measurement stations are arranged as follows: at least by one station per unit with its side facing towards opposite to Earth rotation side. At that, measurement stations are presented by reference stations made with possibility to measure their elevation and/or horizontal displacement. Conclusion on seismic event possibility is made if controlled mark lowering on 0.5-1.0 m is detected.

EFFECT: technical result is seismic event possibility reliable prediction.
