MEDICAL PRODUCTS WITH UNIFORM DENSITY OF ELECTRIC CHARGE AND METHODS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G02B1/04

Abstract RU 2601454 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ion silicone-hydrogel and ophthalmic products made from them and having a desired profile of absorption of lacrimal and polycationic components of ophthalmic solution. Anionic, silicone-hydrogel contact lenses contain themselves or on the said silicone-hydrogel at least one random copolymer containing links obtained from at least 10 wt% of at least one nonionic hydrophilic monomer and at least one anionic monomer, herewith the said contact lenses have a contact angle of approximately 70° or less, the absorption of lysozyme of at least approximately 50mcg/lens and less than approximately 10 % of absorption of at least one polycationic component in contact with 3 ml of ophthalmic solution containing 0.001 wt% of the said polycationic component, 0.56 % of citrate hydrate and 0.021 % of citric acid monohydrate (by weight). Invention also relates to a silicone-hydrogel made from a reactive mixture containing main polymerizable components, which include at least one reactive containing silicon component, at least one reactive ion monomer, additional reactive hydrophilic components and cross-linking agents, and secondary polymerizable components selected from a group consisting of hue of contact lenses and dyes, UV-absorbers, photochromic compounds, pharmaceutical compounds, nutraceutical compounds and mixtures thereof, wherein the said main polymerizable components comprise one reactive functional group selected from a group consisting of acrylate, methacrylate, acrylamide, methacrylamide, vinyl and styrene.

EFFECT: ionic silicone-hydrogel polymers have improved level of absorption of lysozyme, small contact angle and lower level of absorption of water-soluble polymer ammonium salts.
