FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silicone hydrogel contact lenses with a non-uniform structure, comprising a non-reactive polymer internal wetting agent, wherein said non-reactive polymer internal wetting agent is more concentrated on the surface of the lens than in its body. Claimed silicone hydrogel contact lens, which is a reaction product of the reaction mixture, contains a silicone-containing component; hydrophilic component; non-reactive polymer internal wetting agent; as well as a polymerisation initiator. Said contact lens has oxygen permeability of at least about 60 barrers, and the molar ratio in the lens of the polymer non-reactive internal wetting agent to silicone, without surface treatment, is higher on the surface of the lens than in its body.
EFFECT: creation of a silicone-hydrogel contact lens with further improved surface properties.
