FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used when processing titanium alloys with end cutters. Cutter comprises shank and working part with end teeth and helical teeth arranged on cylinder generatrix, separated by chip grooves and having at intersection of front and back surfaces of wave-shaped cutting edges. Each wave-shaped cutting edge is made with initial screw section located from top of tooth on the of working part in direction of shank and defines offset value of wave of each wave-shaped edge from end of working part. Wave-shaped cutting edges are made with increased period of their waves from end of working part to tail.
EFFECT: reduced depth of stress-strain layer of processed surface, higher durability and efficiency.
