METHOD OF INCREASING VOLUME OF SOFT TISSUES WITH APPLICATION OF FREE CONNECTIVE TISSUE AUTOGRAFT AT INSTALLATION OF GUM FORMERS ON DENTAL IMPLANTS Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61C8/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry, and is intended for use in treating patients using dental implants. After preparation of the patient and performing anaesthesia incision along alveolar crest is made. Vestibular and palatal or lingual patches are peeled, plugs are unscrewed and gum formers are placed on dental implants. Then free connective tissue autograft is sampled from one of donor areas located on the upper jaw - palate, cusps of the upper jaw or toothless section of the alveolar process. It is placed between gum formers and fixed in the recipient area with mattress sutures at first to vestibular patch, after that, to palatine or lingual one, so that lateral end of the graft is brought under vestibular patch, and medial one is brought under palatine or lingual patch. Then it is immobilized on the alveolar crest with three cross sutures made mesial, distal and middle. Wherein each of them passes across the free connective tissue autograft.

EFFECT: method, due to additional immobilization in the recipient area, increasing area of its contact with richly vascularized vestibular and lingual or palatine patches, allows to reduce the risk of necrotization of free connective tissue autograft and reduce length of its vascularization.
