FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral fertilisers technology. Method for producing ammonium sulphate-nitrate involves dilution with nitric acid of spent acid mixture from cellulose nitrates production in order to obtain weight ratio of sulphuric and nitric acids 0.75÷1.45 based on 100 % acids. Obtained mixture of sulphuric and nitric acids is neutralised with ammonia followed by evaporation of water due to neutralisation reaction heat. Neutralisation products are processed into commercial product.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of toxic gas emissions into atmosphere.
