SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and surgery. Perioperative pneumothorax after laparoscopic fundoplication is resolved. After resolving the laparoscopic tools a patient is brought from reverse Trendelenburg position in horizontal position. Respiratory volume is increased by successive removal of laparoscopic ports. Port from the epigastric area is last removed.

EFFECT: method enables to resolve perioperative pneumothorax, to reduce risk of postoperative pleuritis.
