SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a server rack, and specifically to a server rack with a plurality of rack control modules. Rack, comprising a plurality of mounting sockets, a plurality of nodes respectively located in plurality of mounting sockets, two rack control modules, electrically connected with plurality of nodes, where each rack control module respectively includes a rack management controller (RMC), switch and memory, wherein RMC is connected to memory by means of switch, firmware intended for loading through RMC is stored in memory, wherein when one of rack control modules receives a firmware update image, RMC sends a command for switching to switch in same rack control module to provide switching and connection of switch with memory of other rack control module and RMC performs firmware update procedure in memory of other rack control module in accordance with firmware update image.

EFFECT: reduced probability of error in case of unsuccessful update of rack control modules.
