SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rack server and can be used to analyze and reset abnormal status of racks. Method comprises steps of: regularly receiving, by an administration system, any information from a rack control protocol (RMC) and multiple motherboard controllers (BMC); recording each work action performed by an administrator through an administration system; analyzing information and action by the administration system to determine whether any of the RMCs or BMCs in one of several default states requiring attention, and automatic execution of the procedure of remote recovery of one of RMC and several BMCs for resetting of existing abnormal state of RMC or BMC, if it is determined that RMC or BMC is in abnormal state, but still maintains connection with administration system.

EFFECT: automatic execution of procedure for remote recovery of rack control controllers or motherboard controllers.
