FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method and device for monitoring integrity of rotating blades of helicopter rotor. For monitoring integrity of rotating blades of helicopter rotor a rotation mark exciter is fitted on the rotor mast and opposite to it, on the fixed part of the hull, a fixed contactless rotation sensor is installed; electric pulses are recorded, rotation rectangular pulses are formed, time intervals between the pulses are measured, information on the rotor mast rotation period is obtained, a radiating antenna of a certain directional pattern is mounted on the fixed part of the hull, a receiving antenna is mounted in a certain manner, a probing super-high-frequency radiation is formed, reflected signal received by the receiving antenna is detected and amplified, blade rectangular pulses are formed, time intervals between the pulses are determined, the blades numbers are identified, failure signal at deviation of measured time intervals and amplitudes from preset reference values is formed. Device for blades integrity monitoring includes a detector, two comparators, analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converters, super-high-frequency signal generator, receiving and transmitting antenna-feeder systems, reference voltage generator, amplifier, onboard computer, two counters, two rotation sensors, key, clock pulse generator, all connected in a certain manner.
EFFECT: accurate and reliable monitoring of helicopter rotor blades integrity is provided.
