FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and apparatus for controlling helicopter rotor blade integrity in a coaxial arrangement pattern thereof. Method is realized using probing radiation of microwave range for measurement of oscillation parameters of blade displacement, phase method for determination of amplitude of blade flap oscillation, as well as information on angle of blades installation received from standard sensors. Device comprises a microwave signal generator, a modulator, a scaling frequency generator, a radiating antenna-feeder system (AFS), a receiving AFS, a filter unit, a detector, two amplifiers, a phase meter, a phase difference signal duration determining counter, three comparators, counter for determining duration of reflected signal, counter for determining inter-blast time intervals, clock pulse generator (CGP), on-board computer, two return sensors, rotor lower rotor helicopter rotational speed counter, rotor upper helicopter rotor rpm rotational speed counter, propeller differential pitch setting sensor, analogue-to-digital converters unit, sensor detecting the installation of cyclic longitudinal screw pitch, sensor for determining installation of cyclic longitudinal pitch of propeller, sensor for determining installation of cyclic transverse pitch of propeller, reversing mark of lower rotor, reversing mark of upper rotor.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring parameters of oscillating movements of blades.
