SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring devices using capacitive means and can be used in measuring equipment, automation, robotics, electronic skin for bionic prostheses and touch screens. System of conductors comprises measuring conductors lying on the boundary of the measuring region. Each measuring conductor has surface which is a part of practically smooth surface specified in the boundary of measuring area. Shape, dimensions and arrangement of the measuring region are given. Measuring conductors form measuring conductors system of measuring area, containing, at least, three measuring parts, wherein the measuring conductors in each of the measuring parts are electrically interconnected and connected to a corresponding terminal. Function of determining coordinates of geometric centre of two-dimensional region in area of intersection of two-dimensional region and measuring area in corresponding measuring area coordinate system is carried out using values expressed in form of system of values of electric capacitances of measuring conductors of measuring parts at terminals of measuring parts of measuring area of system of conductors.
EFFECT: high accuracy and faster determination of coordinates of the geometric centre of a two-dimensional region by a system of conductors for sensor devices.
