FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is used for the determination of the coordinates of a geometric center of a two-dimensional area. A conductor system contains measuring conductors, wherein measuring conductors are located within a border of a measuring area. Each measuring conductor has a surface that is part of an almost smooth surface set within the border of the measuring area. A shape, dimensions, and location of the measuring area are given. Measuring conductors of the measuring area form a system of measuring conductors of the measuring area, containing at least three measuring parts, measuring conductors in each of measuring parts are electrically interconnected and are connected to a corresponding output. At the same time, the system of measuring conductors implements a function of the determination of the coordinates of a geometric center of a two-dimensional area in an area of intersection of the two-dimensional area and the measuring area in a system of coordinates of the measuring area, corresponding to the measuring area. Values of the coordinates of the geometric center of the two-dimensional area are expressed in the form of a system of values of electric capacities of measuring conductors of measuring parts on outputs of measuring parts of the measuring area of the conductor system.

EFFECT: expansion of the area of application, provision of the possibility of increasing the accuracy and performance of the determination of the coordinates of the geometric center of the two-dimensional area.
