SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, particularly to a device for measuring stress and to a method fro determining the level of stress of the user. Device for measuring stress comprises an input interface for receiving a skin conductance signal, processor for processing skin conductance trace data, wherein the processor is configured to determine, for at least a portion of the skin conductance trace data, values of a rise time, between at least two different points of the skin conductance trace data, to determine a frequency distribution of the rise time values, and to determine the level of stress of the user based on the determined frequency distribution.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to determine the level of stress of the user, in particular for a long period of time.
