FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of hydrogen producing for various requirements of national economy. Method consists in fact that aluminium-based alloy containing 92-98 % of aluminium, 1-8 % of copper, is placed in aqueous solution of alkali, containing 0.4 % of alkali, and water is balance, and performing chemical reaction at solution temperature of 15-70 °C, wherein in reaction water is used with pH from 7 to 12.
EFFECT: invention enables higher rate of hydrogen releasing, production cost-cutting and safety of process.
