FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: twist drill includes front cutting sections located in cutting part upper part. Each front cutting section has sharp front end and cutting edges of horizontal shape. Front cutting sections and cutting edges are arranged radially and in turn. On front cutting section one side with acute front end triangular shaped chamfer is located. Chamfer is inclined downwards relative to cutting part central axis of rotation. On horizontal cutting edge other side triangular shaped chamfer is located, which is inclined downwards relative to cutting part outer peripheral surface. Cut bone residues are accumulated in accumulation flute between front cutting sections and cutting edges, which are arranged in turn. Inclination of side inclined edge on front cutting section outer circumference lateral edges and cutting edge are gradually decrease in cutting part rotation direction.
EFFECT: invention can be used in implant surgery.
