FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the insulation of pipelines for the transport of coolants. Heat-insulated pipe and method of its manufacture consist of a protective sheath, made with anti-corrosion coating (3) of steel pipe (1), forming annular space (8) with the protective sheath. Extruded polystyrene foam (5) is fixed on anticorrosion coating (3) with polyurethane foam glue (4), which is a polymeric heat-insulating material made in the form of two or three segments – shells (6) of a certain volume. Remaining free volume of annular space (8) is occupied by hardened polyurethane foam (9). Extruded polystyrene foam (5) is fixed on steel pipe (1) with polyurethane foam glue (4) with a shear strength in the axial direction of 0.12–0.125 MPa. Insulating flanges made of rigid polyurethane foam are installed at both ends of steel pipe (1) and the protective sheath.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the adhesion properties of the anti-corrosion coating of the pipe and an increase in its service life.
