FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: in this method the outer surface of a steel pipe element (1) is pre-cleaned of impurities and corrosion layers. Then the first layer (3) of heat insulation is applied, consisting of aluminium foil laminated shells of mineral wool on the basis of basaltic rock. Shells are provided with U-shaped interlocks (4) along the length and the ends of mineral wool with pre-inserted centering elements (6) whose height is equal to the thickness of the first heat insulating layer. Then centering combined segments (7) are mounted on the outer surface of the resultant first insulating surface and placed into spiral-wound shell (2) of thin galvanized steel. After that the annular gap between the inside surface of the shell (2) and the outer surface of the first layer (3) of heat insulation is sealed with flanges on both sides, and through the injection hole on the flange the gap (8) is filled with rigid polyurethane foam.
EFFECT: increased performance of heat-carrying medium transport.
