FIELD: nuclear physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear physics and can be used in acceleration engineering to measure the distribution of ionized particles in the cross section of pulse beams. Device for diagnostics of the profile of a beam of ionizing particles comprises a system of registration of ionizing particles distribution in the beam cross section including an accelerating electrode, microchannel plates, a printed-circuit board with a delay line connected to a signal processing unit, herewith along the direction of the ionizing particles beam orthogonally to the system of registration of ionizing particles distribution there is the same registration system, printed circuit board of which is connected to the signal processing unit, delay lines on the printed circuit boards are in the form of a meander, and the signal processing unit has two inputs for each of the orthogonal registration systems.

EFFECT: increased volume of obtained information on distribution of ionizing particles along two orthogonal coordinates.
