FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile machine building, namely to the textile waste treatment system noise mufflers. Muffler contains housing in the form of cylindrical shell, coaxial inlet and outlet nozzles and the resonance insert in form of body of revolution installed coaxially to housing with the annular clearance formation, resonant insert is made in the form of a body of revolution consisting of central cylindrical shell with radius R1 and length 2×HC and two conical shells with length HK, fixed at the cylindrical shell edges, wherein on the conical shells free surfaces side, perforated discs with radius R2 are rigidly fixed thereto, and in the middle of resonant insert element is installed, which increases the resonant insert rigidity and is made in the form of a solid disk, wherein the resonant insert is fixed in the housing by means of fastening elements made in the form of at least one ring with holes, wherein from the inside the housing, and the resonant insert is from the outside are lined with sound absorbing material, having thicknesses h1 and h2, respectively.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of noise suppression.
