SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for flanging a conical workpiece. Workpiece is first deformed in the zone of its larger diameter and then in the zone of its smaller diameter. At that, deformation is performed with mean integral deformation over billet generatrix calculated by mathematical expression given in claim.
EFFECT: part of preset variable thickness increasing from larger diameter elements to smaller diameter is manufactured.
