FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and concerns radiopaque agent for diagnostics of gastrointestinal diseases and method for preparing it. Essence of invention consists in radiopaque agent, made on basis of composite compound of barium sulphate (BaSO4) and organic polymers with molecular weight up to 500,000 Da with weight ratio of barium sulphate: polymer from 1:10 to 1:70.
EFFECT: use of invention enables high-accuracy diagnosis of gastrointestinal tract diseases.
