FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is intended for determination of level, instant and integral bulk density of cargo in open wagons of rail transport, detecting oversized cargo, detection of deviations from grade, as well as to construction of distribution of level (bulk density) along length of open-top wagon. Device includes speed sensor, loading level sensor and a processing and control unit. Device additionally includes means of determining weight of load, level sensors, number of which ranges from two to six, which are installed at a height of 5.0 m from level of rail head of railway track, to right and left of axis of path in range of 0.2 m to 0.75 m.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of level determination, instant and integral bulk density of cargo in open wagons.
