SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated devices for determining the dimensions of transported goods. An automated control and dimensional device for monitoring rolling stock contains a U-shaped frame installed above the railway track, with three scanning laser rangefinders placed on it with built-in computers mounted on the side racks and a cross member of the U-shaped frame, as well as an optoelectronic sensor the beginning of the train and counting of cars, while the calculators of the scanning laser rangefinders, as well as the output of the optoelectronic sensor of the start of the train and counting of cars through the multiport board are connected to the PC. At the same time, there are also three digital cameras located on the side racks and the crossbar of the U-shaped frame, three pulse illuminators located on the side stands and the crossbar of the U-shaped frame, as well as a selector connected to a PC, three video signal adders, three signal image synthesizers. tags, three switchers of video signals and a control monitor. The outputs of digital cameras through the series-connected corresponding adders of video signals and switchers of video signals are connected to the control monitor, the free inputs of the adders of video signals are connected to the outputs of the corresponding image synthesizers of the signal mark, the control inputs of which are connected to the corresponding outputs of the selector, which are also connected to the control inputs of the corresponding digital cameras, the control inputs corresponding switches and control inputs of pulse illuminators. The corresponding outputs of the PC are connected to the control inputs of the corresponding synthesizers of the signal mark images.
EFFECT: automation of oversize detection is achieved.
