FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes and devices for catalyst regeneration. Catalyst regenerator comprises a vessel having a catalyst inlet, a catalyst outlet, a gas inlet and a gas outlet. Grids are spaced from each other in vertical direction inside vessel and extend across vessel. Each grid has a plurality of small holes with size sufficient for gas flow through grid. Holes are small enough to prevent passage of catalyst particles. Grid also has at least one large hole for passage of catalyst through grid. Large holes have rectangular shape and extend across grid and have hole width of 2-5 cm.
EFFECT: technical result is controlling catalyst flow through regenerator to ensure constant time of holding catalyst inside regenerator in order to improve mixing of gas and catalyst and reduce total time of holding catalyst.
