SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ice cream production technology. Frozen Confectionery product comprises core (10) at least partially coated with frozen flexible edible gel coating (14). Core consists of a frozen sweet product. Said gel coating (14) is provided with at least one cutting line (16). Cutting line enables to peel-off gel-coating (14) at least partially. Gel coating (14) comprises at least two visually distinctive gel layers (14a, 14b). Also disclosed is a method for production of said frozen confectionary product. First mixture is poured into a mould and frozen. Mixture forms first frozen gel layer (14a) in mould. Excess mixture is sucked off. Further, a second mixture is poured into mould and frozen. Mixture forms second frozen gel layer (14b) in mould. Excess mixture is sucked off to form a shell consisting of two frozen gel layers (14a, 14b) forming coating (14). Third mixture - core (10) is then poured into in said shell, frozen, product is extracted from mould and at least one cutting (16) is cut in frozen gel coating (14).
EFFECT: invention increases "game effect" and attractiveness of product during consumption thereof and enables to peel gel layer from core as a continuous whole or as peel from a banana.
