SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food industry, in particular, to a frozen confectionary coating cutting tool. Tool comprises a frame defining an area for placing an article with at least partially applied coating, a set of side knives in the form of a disc, comprising at least two knives mounted on the frame opposite to the area for placing the article, wherein said knives are arranged on frame to turn and end cutter to cut coating on end face of frozen confectionary product. Invention also relates to a method for cutting a coating on a frozen confection.
EFFECT: use of group of inventions will make it possible to improve quality of frozen confectionary product cutting into component parts.
