SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Frozen confectionery product comprises core (10) consisting of a frozen confection. Core is at least partially coated with frozen flexible edible gel layer (14). Gel layer (14) is provided with at least one line (16) cut therein extending spirally over gel layer. Said line cut allows gel layer (14) to peel off in one piece in continuous spiral (18). Invention also discloses method for production of a frozen confectionary product, a frozen confectionary product obtained using said method and a cutting tool.

EFFECT: invention increases "game effect" and attractiveness of product during its consumption and remove gel layer from core as a continuous whole.
