FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial processes simulation. Device for AC electric locomotive simulation, connected between catenary system and rail, comprises first linear resistor and circuit with series connected inductance coil and first nonlinear resistor connected in parallel to it. At electric locomotive model connection point to catenary system alternating voltage source is connected through series-connected second inductance coil and second linear resistor. Second nonlinear resistor is connected in series with first nonlinear resistor, which resistance dependence degree of electric locomotive current is twice greater than first resistor resistance dependence from electric locomotive current.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of electric locomotive current curve reproduction accuracy.
