SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to traction power supply systems for railways. The effect is achieved by replacing a part of the power of the statistical reactive power generator (SRPG) with a parallel installed unregulated capacitive compensation unit of the same power with resonant filters, forming a complex system of adjustable compensation and filtration (ACFS), and form two ACFS regulation modes: "voltage stabilization" mode at the sectioning post and "minimum power loss" mode in the traction network.

EFFECT: reducing power losses and increasing the efficiency of reducing power losses in the traction network.
