FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brewing industry. Device includes a cylindrical housing, in the lower part of which above the bottom there is a filtering mesh, and a ripper mechanism including mounted in the housing cover a hollow shaft with a stirring working element in the form of two blades. Inside the hollow shaft there is a cutter shaft with fixed on its free end a transverse holder with knives. Device has a drive including mechanisms of rotational movement of the hollow and the cutter shafts, each of which is made in the form of two gears with different gear ratios for simultaneous rotation of the hollow and the cutter shafts in opposite directions with different angular speeds. Inside the cylindrical housing there is a helical conveyor for continuous removal of the mash mass from the filtration zone.

EFFECT: invention enables continuous ripping of the accumulating mash mass, not letting the filtering mesh clogged, automating the mash mass removal, improving the filtrate quality and ensuring continuity of the filtration process.
