Method consists in the following. Coffee composition is obtained from instant coffee particles. Coffee composition is pressed to produce pressed coffee product with three-dimensional shape. Coffee product external surface is moistened with water in amount of 1-3 mg per cm² of surface. Product is dried to produce soluble coffee tablet. Outer part has higher density in comparison with inner part density. Soluble coffee tablet contains external part with density in 1.5-3.5 times higher than inner part density. Coffee-based beverage production method involves adding soluble coffee tablet to suitable amount of water for its complete dissolution.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides preparation of product with higher mechanical strength, maintains quick dissolution.
