SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of vehicles wheel tire assembly. Technical result is achieved by a method for assembling tires for vehicle wheels, which includes: formation of tire components (100, 100') on shaping drum (3). At that, components form gripper of shaping drum (3) by means of gripping device (8), movement of gripping device (8) in space with three measurements (X, Y, Z) for its supply to trailing ends (21, 36) of conveyors (17, 32), which belong to one or more stations (4) intended for supply of semi-products (24, 39). Said end ends (21, 36) are located one above the other. Then semi-finished products (24, 39) are supplied to corresponding upper conveying surfaces of conveyors (17, 32) up to finishing ends (21, 36). Shaping drum (3), which is carried by gripping device (8), is approached to some of conveying surfaces until surface (3a), radially external relative to shaping drum (3), will not be placed in contact with semi-finished product (24, 39) resting on corresponding ending end (21, 36). Forming drum (3) is rotated about its symmetry axis (x-x) for winding semi-finished product (24, 39) on radial outer surface (3a).
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of floor area occupied by production equipment, shorter duration of assembly and higher flexibility of production equipment when making different types of tires.
