FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, specifically to diagnosis of mechanical strength of electrotechnical device. Method comprises creating vibration processes by mechanical effects on device, measuring voltage induced in windings of device as a result of mechanical action, determining frequency characteristics of G(f) of response to said effects. Modulus of electromagnetic frequency characteristics is evaluated based on relationship , where Ug(ƒ) is spectral power density (SPD) of random process of voltage from test signal generator of "white noise", transmitted to winding; UR(ƒ) is SPD of random process after measuring resistance. Frequency of maximum of spectral power density of rated voltage is determined using expression: . Pressing force is determined by a corresponding relationship , where is a constant value which characterises degree of pressing of windings of said device; ƒi is frequency of maximum SPD of voltage induced in winding; n is a constant value; Pi0 and ƒi0 are known or previously defined pressing force and frequency of maximum SPD of voltage of said device. Diagnosis is established based on calculated pressing force.

EFFECT: high reliability of diagnosis of mechanical strength of electrotechnical device.
