Described are methods for producing polyploidized megakaryocyte and platelets, comprising forcing expression of a BCL-XL gene in megakaryocytes before polyploidization, said megakaryocytes are obtained by forcing expression of an oncogene such as MYC or a gene such as BMI1 in the cells at any differentiation stage from hematopoietic progenitor cells obtained not from ES cells, in megakaryocytes before polyploidization and cultivation and proliferation of the obtained cells, and cultivation the above cells.
